A second model checks the first

It reads the recording and the finished note and reports any statement that is absent from the source or has been interpreted. Findings are attached to the note, not hidden in a log.

One rule set for every template

All templates share the same rules from one place, so a rule tightened on one is tightened on all.

Limits enforced in code

Some words are blocked by ordinary code rather than by asking a model to remember. A request for a withheld output is refused before it runs, and the refusal is logged.

TalkToAlba builds on research led by Sverker Sikström, Professor of Cognitive Psychology at Lund University, on how the words people use can describe depression, anxiety and other conditions.

Data & security

Patient data is treated as the most sensitive thing we hold. Because it is.

Stored in Sweden

Clinical data is stored on our server in Stockholm and is transcribed and analysed in Microsoft Azure, Sweden Central. Our subprocessors are listed and named.

Never used for training

We do not train or fine-tune models on patient data, or on anything derived from it, including de-identified data.

Secure by default

Sign in with passkeys or two-factor authentication. In the US, no clinical account exists without an executed business associate agreement.

Regulatory status

Alba Assessment for Europe is being developed toward MDR Class IIa. It is not certified, no notified body has assessed it, and no CE mark is in force. Before certification it can be used clinically in the EU only within a clinical investigation. Alba Notes is documentation support without a diagnostic purpose and is not a medical device.
